Gas station pitched for Four Corners area voted down

The gas station pitched for the former Flowers Etc. location on West University Avenue got a thumbs down from the Lafayette Consolidated Government’s city zoning commission Monday night.

Commissioners followed a recommendation from planning officials to turn down the request for a conditional use permit to allow the convenience store with gas sales at 1803 W. University Ave.
