£20k fine for Yorkshire property company for failing to carry out fire safety improvement works
A Yorkshire property company has been fined £20,000 for failing to carry out safety and fire safety improvement works on a property in Kirkburn, Driffield after ignoring requests to do so by housing officers.
 
The Bill received Royal Assent on 28th April 2022, and has now completed all the parliamentary stages in both Houses to become an Act of Parliament – The Building Safety Act.
