Dear GCWA Members,
Your GCWA Committee wants you to know how important your membership and involvement is for the ongoing viability of our association. Your continued support and involvement in this creative community is invaluable and very much appreciated.
As a not-for-profit, our resources are limited. All the same, we know that you are with us in these difficult times. We are providing free access to the monthly online webinars for all who wish to join us as an interim measure to help overcome the necessary restrictions on social gatherings.
Also, as a one-off initiative, if your GCWA membership has expired or expires between Jan-July 2020, you can still enjoy membership privileges as follows: - Discounted (members rate) Anthology competition entry.
- Access to advertise in the GCWA monthly newsletter (over 500 subscribers).
- Access to the GCWA Members Only Facebook Page that houses a number of creative writing skills resources.
- The ability to request the YouTube link for the online meeting recordings (or to Facebook, if preferred).
The strength of our membership over the last three years has been instrumental in the Committee being able to bring high quality monthly events for all of you. We value you and want to reassure you that the Committee is still active and focused on being as proactive as possible during the COVID-19 restrictions.
You will continue to receive renewal reminders from our Membership Secretary, and we would be grateful if you are in a position to renew. However, if it’s applicable to you, we are happy to provide the above-mentioned extension to those of you who are unable to renew at this time.
If, however, your membership with the GCWA is not renewed by 31 August 2020, the member privileges identified above will expire. You are very welcome to renew your GCWA membership any time after this period.
