As someone who reads Digiday, you probably already know about Europe's General Data Protection Regulation, set to take effect next week.

In line with these new standards, we've updated our privacy policy (which you can read in full here) to provide greater transparency around how we collect and use your data. The key points, in plain English:

• We collect your data, such as email address and other details mostly related to your profession or company, to provide you with access to our news, events and other programs. 
• We will never share your information without your explicit permission.
• We honor your right to privacy and will comply with your wishes to remove your data from our systems.

As part of this change, we're also providing further transparency and flexibility when it comes to the emails you're signed up to receive from us. You can view those and make changes at any time through your preference center in the footer of any of our emails. You'll also continue to be able to unsubscribe from all Digiday email at any time.
