General Motors laying off more than 1,300 Michigan workers

At the Orion Assembly facility in Lake Orion, 945 workers will be indefinitely laid off starting Jan. 1. Additionally, 369 employee layoffs are planned at the Grand River Assembly/Stamping plant in Lansing.
