Some businesses are mandating employees and customers sign liability waivers saying they will not sue if they contract COVID-19 -- the disease caused by the coronavirus -- in that establishment. The businesses say they are concerned they could be sued even if they follow safety guidelines from the CDC, but some critics say the waivers open the doors for companies to cut corners on safety measures.
