Generation Z is coming!

In China, the economy is suffering from the ongoing trade tariff discussions with the U.S. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s GDP increase was 6,5% in the third quarter of 2019, the weakest quarterly economic increase since 2009, the year of the world financial crisis. Forever young?

Recent demographic changes are having important consequences for cosmetic treatments and dermatology. The population is ageing at a rapid rate and the trend is set to continue in the next years. Low fertility and an increased life expectancy of 78 years for men and 83 years for woman have introduced a pronounced ageing process. According to the BpB (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung), in 1900 45 percent of the population in Germany was under 20 years old, and only 4 percent were 65 years old and older.

KCE acquires CTL-TH Packaging (CTL/Tuboplast)

March 12, 2020 - The 53rd edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has been rescheduled for September: it will be held in Bologna from 3 to 7 September 2020 – with COSMOPACK and COSMO|PERFUMERY & COSMETICS from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th and COSMO|HAIR NAIL & BEAUTY SALON from Friday 4th to Monday 7th.
