Angela DavisToday I spoke with two guests about why diabetes is a difficult condition , especially for adults ages 18 to 44. According to a recent study by the Minnesota Department of Health, young adults in Minnesota may struggle the most when it comes to keeping their blood sugar at healthy levels. A different study by the National Kidney Association found that African-Americans are more likely to have high blood pressure and diabetes, both diseases that can lead to kidney failure. I spoke with Christina Garner, a 32-year-old Twin Cities native in need of a new kidney. Tomorrow, tune in at 11 a.m. for a show about children and mental health. ~Angela Davis
