| Giving Tuesday is just one week away, and we’re excited to share that this week your support for small family farms, food access, and food education will have TWICE the impact in your community.
Thanks to a match pledged by our board of directors and a group of Foodwise supporters, all donations made today through next Tuesday, December 3, will be matched up to $15,000. This means your gift—of any amount—will be DOUBLED. Your gift (x2) helps to:
- Enable direct connections between small family farmers and food makers and thousands of Bay Area residents through Foodwise farmers markets, and provide opportunities for people of color, women, and immigrant entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
- Ensure food access for everyone in our community through Market Match, which doubles CalFresh benefits (food stamps) up to $15 per day, so that families can put fresh, healthy food on the table while supporting local, sustainable farms.
- Provide free food education for thousands of Bay Area kids and families to deepen their culinary skills and build community through our free Foodwise Kids and Foodwise Teens education programs.
