These apps save you money, but are you giving away your privacy?

When you've got multiple subscriptions to different streaming websites, it can be hard to keep track of them all. That's why subscription management apps are so helpful. They keep track of your payments, alert you on price hikes and even let you know when you should stop paying for a platform. But some of them come with security concerns.

I need a better solution

Q: Is there ANYTHING I can use besides QuickBooks for my financials? The more I use QB, the more disgusted I become! HELP!

A: Sounds like you're drowning in spreadsheets. Don’t let QuickBooks slow you down, and stop paying for multiple systems that don’t give you the information you need when you need it. It’s time to upgrade to NetSuite by Oracle, the world’s No. 1 cloud business system.

NetSuite gives you visibility and control over your financials, HR, inventory, e-commerce and more — all in one place — instantaneously.

Want to check it out? Let NetSuite show you how they’ll benefit your business with a free product tour at NetSuite.com/Kim.

How can I find better applicants?

Q: I need to hire someone, but I can barely manage all the resumes I get when I post a job online. I stick to the free sites to save cash, but I'm feeling like that's the wrong move. Any advice?

A: You can attract a lot of candidates on those sites, but as you've found, you won't necessarily get the right ones. It's a ton of work sorting through all of that! You might not even find anyone who fits the job.

When I'm hiring, I use LinkedIn Jobs. It can help by matching your role with qualified candidates so you can find the right person quickly. LinkedIn screens for skills and you can use a ton of different tools to narrow down your search. That means so much less work on your end.

Right now, you can post a job for free at LinkedIn.com.Kim.

Sending private emails

Q: I saw one of your posts about StartMail. I like the idea of encryption, but if you have a service like this but your recipient doesn’t, doesn’t it defeat the purpose?

A: That's the beautiful thing about it: That doesn't matter. There are two different methods through which you can send and receive encrypted emails with StartMail: the Password Protected Message method and the PGP Encryption Method.

The PGP method is for recipients who use an encrypted service. For others, you simply lock your emails down with a password. Share that password with your recipient using a method aside from email. Once you send your message, they will get a URL to access the email on the StartMail servers. Recipients can access your message for 28 days.

Take back your privacy and say goodbye to Big Tech. Go to StartMail.com/Kim to try it out yourself free for 7 days and get 50% off your first year.
