Family tours, free kids' tickets, and arty fun at St Paul's Cathedral
Taken advantage of St Paul's Cathedral's terrific summer holiday ticket offer yet? Until 4 September, one full paying adult or concession can bring up to three children under the age of 18 to see inside this historic London landmark at no extra cost (just remember to enter the code KGF2021 at checkout!) But that's not the only reason to visit this month...
Inspired by this year's theme of Creation, Craft, and Creativity, St Paul's Cathedral has launched a brand new Family Zone featuring arty activities, family trails, and costumed storytelling. Then there are the drop-in family tours, which give under-12s the inside scoop on the Cathedral's hidden gems, including the staircase that featured in a Harry Potter film and the Quire's spectacular wood carving.
Other highlights for all ages include live embroidery demos, pop-up mosaic displays, and an exhibition in the Crypt about the battle to restore this London landmark during the first half of the 20th century. Whether you've got kids in tow or not, with fewer international tourists in the city this year, now's the perfect time to get closer to St Paul's Cathedral. |
