Featured CHAC Artist~Maria Sands
Maria Sands is a Photographer with experience from Coast to Coast. As a child, Maria was very quiet and not outgoing to others. When Maria was ten years old, her mother gave Maria her late father’s camera. Maria’s mother told her to “use the camera and let the photos tell your stories. This will help you become more social.”  It all started from there. Maria had photography classes in high school and college.  Maria had her own darkroom for developing her black and white photography work.  Maria’s work ranges from nature, cultural and traditional events, weddings, real estate, street photography and better than typical travel scenes. Maria is experienced from Darkroom to Gigabytes.
