Tune in to KQED programs featuring stories pitched, produced and reported by youth from high schools all over the Bay Area.
| Youth are taking over KQED! From April 23 - 27, tune in to our first Youth Takeover, where KQED programs will feature stories pitched, produced and reported by youth from high schools all over the Bay Area. This initiative will span across KQED radio, television and online. Participating programs include The California Report, Above the Noise and KQED Newsroom. Then on Friday, April 27, join us for Youth Takeover Live, a special evening where students will take the stage to discuss the stories that matter to them, from the youth perspective. This multimedia event will be hosted by Myles Bess from KQED's YouTube series, Above the Noise. Other guests include: Sasha Khokha, Host of KQED's The California Report, and Sam Sanders, Host of NPR's It's Been A Minute. This event is in partnership with NPR Generation Listen. Support for the Youth Takeover Live is provided by the San Francisco Foundation. | |
