Lakeland Bank in New Jersey has agreed to create a $12 million fund to support homeownership, settling Justice Department claims that the bank avoided issuing mortgages in Latino and Black neighborhoods. The bank admitted no wrongdoing, but the settlement is one of the largest of its kind.

More than 70% of economists surveyed by Reuters say they expect the Federal Reserve to implement another 75-basis-point interest rate hike at its next meeting.
