Artist Opportunities - Open call – Environmental Crisis: Art and Science Exhibition (Deadline: 9 December 2019): The call for submissions for the 2nd Art and Science exhibition at Gerald Moore Gallery is now open for pre-existing works that explore the issue of the Environmental Crisis to be exhibited from Feb to March 2020, spanning across British Science week 8-17 March. With the "Climate crisis" in the news and the recent protests led by young people, Gerald Moore Gallery would like to engage with this subject in an exhibition.
- Bridgeman Studio Award (Deadline: 16 December 2019): Launching on the 5th of October 2019 to celebrate Black History month in the UK and promoting the Art of Diversity, the international Bridgeman Studio Award is sponsored this year by Verizon Media. This year’s prize: £5,000 cash commission for the design of a limited edition print and tote bag to be sold online on Artsy and in a London Gallery exhibition in 2020.
- Towner International Open Call (Deadline: 17 January 2019): Towner are inviting open call submissions for Towner International – a major new biennial exhibition of contemporary art that will take place at Towner in 2020, featuring British and International artists. The £10,000 Brewers Prize, provided by Brewers Decorator Centres, will be awarded to an overall winner selected from the exhibiting artists.
Submissions are welcome from professional artists across the UK and internationally, working in all media, including – but not restricted to – painting, drawing, print, sculpture, sound, performance, photography, film and installation.
