Happy Earth Month!

Celebrate Earth Month and Grades of Green’s student Eco-Leaders with a donation in April.  We believe young people have the power to create a more sustainable world. With your help, we can provide them with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to turn their passion into environmental action.

Your donation will help us fund programs that empower students to make positive environmental impacts today, ensuring that future generations inherit a planet that's not only beautiful but also thriving.

Let’s work together to create a world where everyone has access to a clean and healthy environment. Help us inspire the next generation of environmental leaders with a donation today!

Students in Action

Soren Scores a School District's Support
Soren, a 7th grader at Rosemont Middle School, recently won a Glendale Unified School District Foundation grant to carry out his Grades of Green project! By incentivizing students to monitor where waste is placed with gift cards purchased by the grant, he is aiming to reach his goal to reduce food waste on his campus. Soren has presented to many district staff members and will be presenting at the Board of Education Meeting on April 4th. Way to score, Soren!!
Way to Brick it on, Nkeng!

Nkeng Joel from Buea, Cameroon is getting things underway for Earth Month! This year, Nkeng is organizing a large community clean-up at Downbeach in Limbe, Cameroon. After collecting waste from the clean up, Nkeng and his team will be using the waste to create eco-bricks that will be used to build schools and sanitation facilities in his community. In order to organize the clean up, Nkeng has completed numerous tasks including forming partnerships, writing letters to the local delegation, hosting webinars, and conducting a media tour across Buea. His project has been featured in local press, television, and media. Keep up the great work, Nkeng!
