Get Your Online Learning Program On Course
Monday, March 11, 2019
2-3 PM ET, 11 AM-12 PM PT

Every public library’s mission statement includes lifelong learning in some form or fashion. It’s just that important, right? The 2016 Pew study on Libraries and Learning validates that sentiment with 73 percent of Americans labeling themselves as lifelong learners when it comes to personal interests, and 63 percent of working adults indicating they have sought out additional training or taken a course for upskilling linked to career performance.1

As libraries seek to bring in programming that meets the diverse educational needs of their communities, factors such as staff time, breadth of expertise, classroom space, and even budgets play into the equation.

Enter online learning solutions.

In this webcast, a panel of three librarians specializing in adult services discusses the benefits of online learning programs, tips on how to incorporate these solutions into your existing programming, and best practices for promoting eLearning options to the community.

Panelists will also share their experiences with Gale Courses, a 24/7 learning solution featuring more than 360 instructor-led online courses focusing on personal growth and professional development. Plus, you’ll be able to explore some of the many features of this resource, such as real-time tracking and reporting tools that measure patron engagement and program outcomes.
