This Relatable Kit Kat Ad, While Unofficial, Is a Master Class in the Power of Simplicity
 
 

Sometimes, you make an ad (for fun) that's so good the brand just has to use it. For British creative strategist Sam Hennig, that moment came when he developed an OOH idea for Kit Kat, the brand known for helping you take a break.

Hennig tells Adweek how this ad went from spec to reality.

Target Names New CMO, Rick Gomez Promoted to Food and Beverage Chief
 

Target has made a number of moves within its C-Suite to help the retailer keep driving growth after a strong Q3, including a 21.3% increase in revenue compared to the previous year (Q4 and full-year earnings for 2020 will be revealed in early March). Among the moves, former CMO Rick Gomez will now tackle growing Target's food and beverage business.

That means a new CMO: Cara Sylvester will be tasked with “deepening affinity for the Target brand across all platforms."

Exclusive | S4 Capital Continues Its Ambitious Evolution by Joining The Climate Pledge
 

Brands like Best Buy, JetBlue, Mercedes-Benz and Unilever have joined The Climate Pledge to have zero-carbon emissions by 2040, 10 years ahead of the Paris agreements. Martin Sorrell's S4 Capital is now the first agency to join the pledge as it's racing toward a goal of being carbon neutral by 2024.

Sorrell spoke with Adweek about S4's mission to not only be carbon neutral, but set an example others will want to follow.
