Today is Giving Tuesday, an opportunity to donate to charitable organizations amongst the holiday shopping season. No matter how or when you help raise money during the holiday season, make sure you give to legitimate charities, verify tax-deductible status beforehand, and stay alert to high pressure tactics a scammer might use.
