It's been more nearly two months since New Hampshire entered a state of emergency in response to COVID-19. The Monitor has been here daily to tell the stories of the community, and in the interest of public health, we continue to make our coronavirus coverage free to all readers.

Just like you, this pandemic affects our team's health, finances, and routine, but we are persevering and remain more committed than ever to our role in public service. Today, we are participating in #GivingNewsday, a national campaign to bring our neighbors together to subscribe, give, and amplify the message of local journalism.

We have partnered with the Local Media Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so that we may accept tax-deductible gifts through the COVID-19 Local News Fund program. The foundation has assisted more than 200 independent and family-owned local news organizations like ours in getting valuable financial support from their communities. All donations will be used to continue, support, and increase COVID-19 news coverage and journalism right here in New Hampshire.

As part of #GivingNewsday, we encourage you to share our stories and resources with your loved ones and welcome them to subscribe or donate at concordmonitor.com: We will make your donation count by continuing to provide vital information to our community.
