Giving thanks for your support

Tomorrow friends, family and neighbors all across the country will gather and celebrate. Everyone has different traditions and the celebrations take many different shapes, but one common theme is gratitude. This year our kids are flying in from out of town and we’ll spend the afternoon with close friends. For us, this is a day to be with the ones we love and who care for us.
With that in mind, I want to take a moment to reach out and let you know how grateful I am for you. Your trust and belief in KQED inspires the work we do. When you read, watch or listen to KQED, or when you participate in a KQED Live event, you show us how much local, independent, community-powered media is valued.
I’m incredibly thankful for the dedication, loyalty and love of our supporters. Because of people like you, your colleagues can tune in to KQED radio on their commute. Your neighbors can stay informed with fact-based reporting. Your children can be nurtured at their own pace on PBS Kids. Members are the reason public media continues to thrive in the Bay Area, and together we are having a positive impact in our community and world around us.
