Need some more fall fruit, like apples or pears? If you have access to a local orchard, you might want to try gleaning!

In case you aren't familiar with the term, this simply means picking excess produce after the main harvest...WITH permission. :) A few years ago, I put a quick video on our Canning Pears page of me gleaning in a pear orchard. Gleaning = free (or cheap) fruit and a nice morning spent in an orchard. Does anyone else find this fun like I do?!
