On the centenary of the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, this series brings to campus internationally distinguished historians of modern art who specialize in early Soviet art, film, and culture. Join us for the remaining two lectures in the series. 

After each lecture, the related installation What about Revolution? Aesthetic Practices after 1917 in the University Teaching Gallery on Level 3 will remain open until 8pm.

Materials Lab Workshop: Shell Bead Carving with Elizabeth James-Perry

Elizabeth James-Perry, an Aquinnah Wampanoag wampum and textile artist, will demonstrate the time-honored coastal tradition of shell bead carving. Participants will have a chance to drill shell and soapstone beads. More
