Be extra careful out there. - Mark & Leslie Here's what's on Good Morning San Antonio for Tuesday, November 12: CLICK HERE TO WATCH LIVE What's Trending Arctic cold front will make it feel like it's in the 20s An arctic cold front that roared into the San Antonio area Monday afternoon quickly wreaked havoc as Hill Country schools reported delays, high winds caused a popular highway interchange to be closed and was to blame for some power outages. The cold front is expected to knock temperatures from the 70s to near freezing by Tuesday morning. San Antonio area school delays: Check the list The following school districts have announced delays for the start of school Tuesday due to arctic weather. Check out the list by clicking above. The cold front is resulting in a sharp drop in temperatures. Blustery winds will also kick in from the north at 20 to 30 mph, gusting up to 40 mph at times. Spurs retire Tony Parkers' jersey in emotional ceremony The San Antonio Spurs retired Parker's No. 9 jersey on Monday night in a stirring ceremony. The sting of a 113-109 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies was quickly forgotten as a sell-out crowd celebrated the career of San Antonio's mercurial point guard. Parker became the 10th player in franchise to have his number retired, joining fellow Big Three members Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili in having their jerseys lifted to the rafters of the AT&T Center. Today's Headlines Converse resident to shooter: ‘You better stop before it is too late man.' Residents living in a Converse neighborhood were caught off guard by the number of bullets they heard pummeling a home Thursday morning. The shooting happened around 5:00 a.m. in the 8800 block of Dream Avenue. Converse police said the shooting was targeted, and approximately 30 rounds were fired at the home. "We were asleep," said one grandmother, who didn't want to be identified. "We just heard shots after shots after shots, and when we came out, my husband and I heard young voices saying, ‘Hurry up man.'" Rare exhibit honoring Women Airforce Service Pilots featured at SA airport Women Airforce Service Pilots, or WASPs, could be called the original "Fly Girls." They were the under-recognized pilots who were based out of Sweetwater, Texas, and carried a heavy load for the U.S. Air Force's bomber units in Europe during World War II. The highly coveted WASP jobs were only given to about 1,800 women, but 25,000 people from all over the United States had applied. Woman wounded in apparent drive-by near downtown, police say A local woman was taken to an area hospital after being wounded in an apparent drive-by late Monday night, San Antonio police said. The incident was reported around 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Produce Row, not far from North Santa Rosa Street and Interstate 10 downtown.
