"We've captured over 1,200 feral hogs in that area in the last three years," Wyatt Walton of LST said. The massive hog was tied alive and removed from the area with the assistance of K-9s. Feral hogs have been a nuisance for many Texas residents, digging up grass and rooting for food. 'COPS' to start filming in San Antonio with Bexar County Sheriff's Office Crews from the TV show "COPS" will be in San Antonio for the next 10 weeks, filming with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. The film crew will follow the BCSO Traffic Safety Unit, Street Crimes Unit and Patrol Division starting Tuesday and crews are expected to be in town through Nov. 23. Bexar County Commissioners unanimously approved the decision to allow the show to return to San Antonio. "COPS" was previously in San Antonio, filming in 2017. John Leguizamo's 'Latin History for Morons' returning to San Antonio Actor, comedian and playwright John Leguizamo is bringing his smash Broadway hit "Latin History for Morons" back to the Majestic Theatre on Dec. 2. The Tony-nominated show was inspired by an absence of Latinos in Leguizamo's son's American history books. "Latin History for Morons" had a successful 16-week run on Broadway that concluded Feb. 25 before Leguizamo took it on the road. Future of La Vernia superintendent remains unclear after board meeting The future of the La Vernia Independent School District superintendent remains unknown. The school board held its regular meeting Monday night. On the agenda was possible action regarding the evaluation of the superintendent, Dr. Trent Lovette, after a string of allegations against him involving inappropriate behavior surfaced earlier this month. No action was taken on Lovette. SAPD: 1 arrested, 1 sought after break-in at NE Side storage facility San Antonio police have arrested one person and are searching for another after a break in at a storage facility on the city's Northeast Side. Officers were called just before 4 a.m. to the A-AAAKEY Mini Storage located on the frontage road of southbound I-35 between Weidner and Thousand Oaks.
