Rosemary Kaʻimilei Keamoai-Strickland of Ka Lā ʻŌnohi Mai O Haʻehaʻe was crowned Miss Aloha Hula 2021. Running a very close second -- just one point behind! -- was Ashley Lai of Hālau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniākea.
And I’ll be tuning in again tonight for the kahiko competition. Kane kahiko is my favorite of the entire event (fast forward the video 23 seconds in to see the winning kane kahiko from 2019). Want to check it out? Tune in online tonight at 6 p.m. HST.
