Cafes, Restaurants and Pubs Restrictions Based on advice from the Chief Health Officer, the Victorian Government has decided that the following restrictions apply from 11:59pm on Sunday 21 June 2020 : Patron limits in restaurants, cafes and pubs remain, with up to 20 seated patrons per space (indoor or outdoor). A maximum group size of 10 people applies. Seated service of alcohol without food will be allowed. We Are Brimbank Awards 2020 ‘We Are Brimbank Awards’ are now open!
The We Are Brimbank Awards celebrate the pride and potential of our city, and recognise the exceptional contributions, hard work and determination of organisations, businesses and groups making a positive difference in Brimbank. Council recognises the impacts from COVID-19 will be significant and this year will be very different for many. Extraordinary things are being achieved in extraordinary times, and these awards are another way we can help recognise the contributions made. Council is looking for nominations across the following award categories: Culture, Arts & Tourism Award Environment & Sustainability Employment & Enterprise Award Inclusive Brimbank Award Learning Excellence Award Visit We Are Brimbank Awards for more information and to nominate an organisation, business or group in Brimbank. Applications close Wednesday 15 July 2020. Alfrieda Street Civic Plaza Works on Alfrieda Street Civic Plaza are progressing with completion of the footpath on the west side. City West Water (CWW) has completed the water main upgrade and the northbound lane is now open. Reinstatement works will occur over the next couple of weeks. The planet feature is installed, and Council is preparing to undertake the first part of the feature paving. St Albans Square Pavement upgrades have now been completed at St Albans Square. Fairy lights were recently installed in the trees, and murals on the raised walls will be completed this week. Planting will be completed by late July. Translating & Interpreting Service Do you need telephone or on-site interpreting?
