Family Fun At The ArcelorMittal Orbit This Easter

Looking for a way to entertain the whole family during the Easter holidays? The ArcelorMittal Orbit in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has all you need for a memorable day out in the capital - and kids go free!

The main attraction of Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond's spiralling red structure is the observation platform, 80m up in the sky, with panoramic views of London. It's inside, so works whatever the weather, and is fitted out with touch-screen information panels to help you identify the capital's landmarks spread out in front of you.

While the views are incredible, there's plenty more to a visit to the ArcelorMittal Orbit too. A set of concave mirrors - also designed by Anish Kapoor - offer a great family selfie opportunity, and as you descend down the 455 stairs back to earth, an atmospheric soundscape of London accompanies you.

Hit the blue button below to book your tickets, or read on for details on that kids-go-free offer, and to plan your family day out.

Show Me The Views
Kids Go Free

Enter code 'KGFE22' at the checkout when you book your tickets to get free kids' Skyline Views tickets this Easter. It's valid on tickets for visits 1-24 April, allowing young 'uns to visit the observation platform, without costing you a penny.

Explore The Park

There's no limit to your time at the top, but once you've torn yourself away from those views, make a day of it by exploring the rest of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. You've got 500 acres of parkland in spring bloom to visit, with free trails and tours focusing on topics such as horticulture, the arts, and the London 2012 Games - apt for the 10th anniversary this year.

Refuel The Family

"I'm hungryyyy" is a familiar refrain on family days out, but not at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It's home to several cafes and restaurants, where you can get everything from a drink and snack to something more filling. Swing by The Last Drop Café for a light lunch, or visit the park's kiosks, which serve everything from American-style burgers to Greek gyros.

Extended Opening Hours

The ArcelorMittal Orbit is open for longer this Easter, with extended opening hours as summer approaches. You can visit every day of the week between 11am and 3pm - including every day of the Easter bank holiday weekend.
