As we get closer to the golf season I thought it would be good to hit some of the details for the upcoming season. Before I get into any of that, let’s talk course opening. We are to a point where we need to see a consistent stretch of nice weather to dry the course out and in order to allow Chris and his staff to prepare the golf course so that it is in the best possible condition to start the season. The last thing we want to do is open too early and in a few months we are trying to fix problems that came about from opening too soon. We, as a staff, are just as excited to get up and running so bear with us as we proceed to get everything open. As soon as we are ready to go everyone will be notified.
Those of you wishing to purchase an annual cart pass for yourself or for your family, when you are out at the club next, please stop into the golf shop to get the paperwork signed. Another item that may be of interest is a GHIN handicap. Established handicaps are good to have as a majority of our events use a format that involves handicaps. Bag storage and lockers are also available. There is nothing better than not having to lug your clubs to and from your car each round. Instead, you can notify the golf shop before you arrive to have your clubs ready to go and loaded on a cart.
Some housekeeping reminders as we enter the new season. Please remember to check-in with the golf shop before each round so we can notify you of course rotation for the day and anything else that you may need to know. Spring season tends to be a wet time of the year so there may be cart restrictions that must be followed so, checking in with the shop will help to guide you around. Proper golf attire is required at all times on the golf course. No blue denim is allowed anywhere on the course or practice facility. Collared shirts are required and to be tucked in. Proper bottoms are required, we do not allow workout pants or any sort of sweatpants on the golf course. If you are not exactly sure what is acceptable and what isn’t, please do not hesitate to ask staff.
The last deal I will touch on is tee times. Tee times are allowed to be made 10 days in advance. All tee times are to be made in person with the golf shop staff or over the phone by calling the golf shop directly at 285-7355. Please enter the golf shop number into your cell phone contacts, as you will learn that you will need it throughout the season much more than you realize.
Be sure to check out the Titleist Loyalty Reward below and if there are any questions, please don't hesitiate to ask. We are looking forward to a great 2018 season!
See you all very soon,
Adam
