Dollar Tree Stores faces an additional $729,306 in penalties following two more investigations OSHAs inspections of a Dollar Tree store in Illinois and a Family Dollar store in Georgia led to more workplace safety citations for the parent company, Dollar Tree Stores. Since 2017, federal and state OSHA programs have found more than 300 violations in more than 500 inspections at the companys stores. Dollar Tree continues to ignore hazards that put their workers and others at risk of injuries or worse, said OSHAs Chicago South Area Director James Martineck. It has to stop before someone is seriously hurt or unable to safely exit in an emergency. |
