Steve Gleason hospitalized: Steve Gleason is in the hospital, Jeff Duncan reports. The popular former Saint was transported to the hospital by first responders Wednesday night as Hurricane Francine swept across the city.
Frankie Beverly RIP: Frankie Beverly, who along with his band, Maze, was a longtime New Orleans favorite, died on Tuesday at age 77. Music writer Keith Spera has this nice look back at his remarkable career.
