Chocolate rain: Some stay dry while some end up with stainsIn an event that could only happen in 2020, a Swiss chocolate factory recently suffered a malfunction in its cooling system. This would normally be enough to shut a factory down, but instead, something remarkable happened: The issue didn’t fully halt production, which meant that the excess had to escape in some way. This led to a sudden burst of brown powder into the air around the factory as chocolate particles escaped through its ventilation system. The result: an entire town sprinkled in a fine, brown chocolatey powder. Needless to say, officials in the area advised residents that the particles were totally harmless and they would either be ingested or melt in the warm summer weather.
