'Goodnight, Cafe': Acadiana mourns the loss of Cafe Vermilionville and wonders what's next

by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Happy Friday, Acadiana business news readers. It's business news time here. Let's get started. It's dang near the weekend.

Restaurants seems to be closing in waves, but the news of the closure of Cafe Vermilionville stings a bit for the folks who favor nostalgia with your meals. We're taking a dive into the building and what the restaurant has meant to its owners, Ken and Andrea Veron, as it closes following a run of over 40 years.

"Grief comes in waves," Andrea Veron said. "We don't have children. This is our baby. And so it's much like a death to us."

You can read the full story here.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.
