UP FIRST Watch out: Google Drive seems to be wiping files Some users have reported the loss of large chunks of data Google Drive has been acting weirdly, apparently deleting the data of some of its users. Folks posting on Google Support forums in recent days have been saying how files have been suddenly disappearing, with no apparent way to get them back. A number of users have explained how their Google Drive has shed data added after May 2023, while others said the loss goes back a couple of years. Google has acknowledged the issue and says it seems to be linked to the Drive desktop app. It also tells users to avoid certain actions with Drive until it's resolved the issue. COMING UP How to watch Tesla's Cybertruck delivery event The electric pickup was unveiled in 2019, so the event is a long time coming Tesla is about to deliver the Cybertruck to its first customers. The unique-looking electric pickup will be presented to the first owners at a special event at Tesla’s Cybertruck Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, November 30. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is likely to lead the proceedings. In a message on social media this week, Tesla said the event will start at 2 p.m. CT (3 p.m. ET and noon PT). The vehicle isn’t expected to go into mass production for a couple of years, so only a small number of the Cybertrucks are expected to be presented to owners at Thursday's event.
