From packages to people: Amazon’s new self-driving taxiAmazon is pretty efficient when it comes to delivering packages, but would you consider letting the company “deliver” you to your destination? Amazon bought a startup called Zoox that builds a self-driving robotic taxi that resembles a tiny bus. It’s fully electric and can fit up to four passengers but here’s the crazy part: there’s no front or back since it’s designed to operate in either direction and there’s no driver seat. Amazon showed off the new Zoox a few days ago and hopes to have it eventually operating in major cities. Hopefully they come up with something better than Prime Taxi.
