Although efforts have been made to resolve homelessness and housing issue in Minnesota, they remain top of mind across the state. Today I talked with the state's new housing commissioner, Jennifer Ho, to address Minnesota's housing problem . Tomorrow, I'll talk to Minnesota's mayors of color to discuss the issues facing their communities and how those communities are changing. Stay tuned at 11 a.m. tomorrow to catch the conversation.

GOP, DFL lawmakers seek to trim special ed paperwork

Concerned about the paperwork pressures on Minnesota's special education teachers, state senators on Thursday offered bipartisan legislation that they said would reduce those paperwork demands by up to 52 hours per student.

On day Jayme escaped, suspect sought job -- with dodgy resume
