School's back and tech stacks

School's back in session. Come November, there's a genuine possibility that two candidates with tech backgrounds will be joining Andrew Coy on Baltimore's school board — making for a total of three tech education stalwarts on the 12-person school board.
 
 If you had to gear a curriculum around one programming language, what would it be? Or what technology do you see being the wave of the future that you'd want your kids to learn at a younger age?
