He also played a high-profile role as the Super Bowl brought the rich, famous and powerful to Louisiana. "He was everywhere in town. I ran into him at so many stops," said U.S. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise. Landry has dismissed suggestions he is taking opportunities to promote himself: “My brand is Louisiana. Louisiana state health workers have been ordered to end long-standing mass vaccination efforts, and they are now banned from promoting seasonal vaccines.
