Governor speaks in Anderson about PPE for schools

Announced Wednesday by Gov. Henry McMaster and S.C.  School Superintendent Molly Spearman, school districts across the state will receive $10 million worth of personal protective equipment and Plexiglas desk shields from the state’s $155 million COVID-19 response reserve starting this week, including at least 15 Upstate school districts.

Renewable Water Resources and Clemson University began tracking and analyzing COVID-19 levels in early June. Samples have consistently shown "significant" and "major" infection levels of the virus in Greenville County.
