Reported in The Canberra Times, on this day 40 years ago, ACT police were considering using a new radar unit to detect speeding motorists. The newly introduced KR-II units were to be used from stationary or moving police vehicles and it was said that the units would defeat many of the detectors used in private vehicles. READ MORE
