A Texas-Sized Ask for Cyber, Modernization

As a part of a biannual process, the Texas Department of Information Resources has made a considerable ask of its legislature: $900 million. Officials say the request, if granted, would pay for 59 projects. With several large modernization efforts included, the figure dwarfs the 2018 request of $486 million.
