I never liked lamb much until I learned how to choose the right cuts and prepare it myself. You always want to choose cuts that are pink and rosy in colour; never dark red. This is a complex-tasting, easy to prepare Greek version of lamb chops that my family adores. Skipping the restaurant versions is fine by me, and my wallet!

I have upcycled these salt/pepper containers into vases. I have the caps left and now finally figured out what I could do with them. I turned these caps into magnets!

Toilet Paper Tubes for Seedlings

Toilet paper tubes make excellent biodegradable plant pots for seedlings. All you need are the tubes and a pair of scissors. Make four cuts about an inch long at one end and fold them in. There should be a small hole for drainage. Fill with compost and sow seeds or plant a seedling.

I love these small flowers. They have a slight fragrance that you really have to put your nose on to smell. I wish they would last more than one day. It's easy to miss the blooms.

Did you know that magazine covers can be curled just like curling ribbon? I'm sure you have tons of magazines around. Get cracking with the strips of paper, scissors, and glue sticks. It looks fabulous especially when some are left straight.
