Student Eco-Leader Presents on Organics |
|
Did you know that as of January 2022, every Californian is required to recycle food scraps along with yard or green materials into green containers? Gone are the days of putting organics in our trash containers and adding to our state's methane emissions. Student Eco-Leader, Whitney S. presented to the Neptunians Women’s Club in Manhattan Beach, CA on March 8 about this new law and how easy it is to start recycling your organic waste. Great job, Whitney in helping spread the word on why it’s important to keep organics out of the landfills! A special thanks to the Neptunian Women’s Club for a generous donation to help Eco-Leaders like Whitney continue making real impact in their communities. | |
