As I write to you, I’m in Hong Kong for the Bank of America Merrill Lynch conference. It’s turning into an exciting week, not least because I’m getting together with some Alpha Society members who live here.

I try to do this as much as possible when I travel (and I travel a lot). I look forward to these gatherings—they recharge me intellectually and I enjoy catching up with Alpha Society members, as well as getting to know new ones.
