Use Tape to Remove Bugs from Plants

If you notice bugs on your plants, get as many off as you can using regular cellophane (Scotch) tape before treating with bug spray. Works like a charm!

Use Mint Extract to Deter Wasps from Feeder

The best solution I have found for keeping bees and wasps away from hummingbird feeders is mint extract of some sort. After I wash the feeders, and before I fill them, I take a Q-tip, dip it in the extract, and apply it to the ports.

Patience and Misting for Starting Roses

Growing roses from seeds can be a bit tricky and requires a great deal of patience. As rosemom mentioned, the seeds may not produce the same plants as the "mother" since most roses in garden centers are hybrids.
