GSP celebrates new record for passenger traffic

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport officials have known for some time that it would be a record-setting year for passenger traffic, but they didn’t expect to break the record with nearly six weeks left in 2019. Passenger number 2,317,985 stepped off an American Airlines flight from Philadelphia on Thursday.

Countybank, Greenwood Capital fulfill pledge

In 2015, Countybank and Greenwood Capital pledged a five-year gift of $100,000 to the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation in honor of the center’s employees. Countybank and Greenwood Capital representatives have delivered the final $20,000 installment of the gift.

10 S.C. charities honored as Angel organizations

Ten S.C. charities have been announced as Angels of 2019 by S.C. Secretary of State Mark Hammond. The organizations honored exemplify charitable giving in the state, with selections based on a review of financial reports as well as nominated from the public.
