GSP celebrates new record for passenger traffic

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport officials have known for some time that it would be a record-setting year for passenger traffic, but they didn’t expect to break the record with nearly six weeks left in 2019. Passenger number 2,317,985 stepped off an American Airlines flight from Philadelphia on Thursday.

In 2015, Countybank and Greenwood Capital pledged a five-year gift of $100,000 to the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation in honor of the center’s employees. Countybank and Greenwood Capital representatives have delivered the final $20,000 installment of the gift.
