A first-time host for The Webby Awards, the multi-talented Jameela Jamil embodies the spirit of work honored every year at The Webby Awards. Unfamiliar with Jameela’s work? Here’s a primer: In addition to playing several star roles, most recently as Tahani in the beloved comedy show The Good Place, Jameela uses the Internet to bring global impact to her work. In 2018, she launched the activism platform, I Weigh. What started as an Instagram page to champion body positivity has become a platform where changemakers gather, share ideas and experiences, and mobilize.
