| Hello there! Forgive me if I’ve been a little distant. I’ve been working on some top-secret projects since I last checked in with you and I’ve been kept very busy testing all the Lomography gear and then cleaning up after myself when I make a bit of a mess…No matter. It’s all about trial and error. I won’t keep you long, I’m sure you’re as keen as me to get out and experimenting! Here’s my up-to-date journal logging my favorite products from my recent trials. |

| As I said, I’ve been working on some top-secret projects this year and one of those was the brand-new Aluminium finishes of the Daguerrotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens, aren’t they wonderful? Well, since the launch I’ve been getting creative with the Daguerreotype Reverse Macro Adapter. This handy tool lets you focus at just 15 cm so you can get really up close and personal with your subject! Personally, I like to use it to take photos of the flowers when I’m outside so I can have something colorful to stick up in the bunker, it gets a bit dark in there… | |

| This groovy pinhole camera takes pictures that are almost as mad as I am! Pinhole cameras have no lens and because the aperture is so small, long exposures are needed to create an image. With this funky camera, I can choose whether I want to expose through 1, 2 or 3 pinholes with every shot and add the included color filters for psychedelic effects. Sometimes I think I must have inhaled too many chemicals in the lab but then I realize that I’m just developing my pinhole snaps! | |

| This one takes me back to the days before the bunker when I was just a young scientist making movies in my back garden and sneaking in the back door of the cinema to watch the latest silent movie release. This little video camera takes up to 144 frames on a roll of 35 mm film in short analogue movies, and I can even add a hot shoe flash so I can keep rolling in the dark. It’s great for recording all my experiments to watch back later and see what caused the explosion… | |
