Habitat Greenville launches eighth CEO Build

The eighth CEO Build campaign for Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County kicked off Wednesday morning with a breakfast at the Commerce Club. Thirty-four CEOs have pledged company support, staff volunteers and personal involvement to build two homes for families on Douthit Street in Greenville.

South Carolina joins investigation into Juul Labs

South Carolina has joined a multistate investigation of electronic cigarette company Juul Labs. The 39-state coalition is probing Juul’s marketing and sales practices, including target audiences for advertising, claims regarding nicotine content and statements regarding product risks, safety and effectiveness as a smoking cessation device.

Leap into Larkin's

Larkin’s will commemorate Leap Day with a “Leap Year Cocktail” based off a 1928 recipe from Savoy Hotel in London, along with wines paired with a four-course meal at Larkin’s Sawmill. A trio of steak au poivre, steak Oscar with charred asparagus and braised beef over stone ground grits with roasted carrots will be the main course with wines from Stag’s Leap and Frog’s Leap Wineries.  Tickets can be purchased for $99.
