Chicago native Megan Stalter has settled into a midcentury-modern home in L.A.'s Silver Lake neighborhood. The comedian and actress paid just under $2 million for the 1960s property, originally built for a member of Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass band. Designed by noted LA architect Ray Otero, the hillside residence has 1,400 square feet of living space and picturesque city lights views. And over in Florida, a Miami contemporary residence with 100 feet of water frontage and its own private dock has come to market, asking $43 million.
